I thought this volume containing the history of the keys was great! I can‘t believe there‘s only one more. What a fun series.

Finally! Some history on the keys and how they came to be.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I‘m inhaling this series, only one more to go. I made a special trip to the library today just to pick up Volume 6.
We trace back to Rendell‘s high school days, and a lot of questions are answered!

Great as ever! Take a walk down memory lane to learn more about Keyhouse and demons.
Can't wait to delve into the final volume! But for now, on to watching The Never Ending Story.
Anyone else got big plans for NYE? Lol 🤣
I brought my empties back this morning and I was like, "Hey! I'm in a liquor store! Might as well buy some more Locke & Key beer!"
So I did. This gose has become my favourite, and I never would've tried it if the label hadn't reminded me of Dodge.
Gah! These are sooo good! I'm starting Volume 5 tonight and I really just want to read straight through the series, but Adult Me knows I have to go to bed super early because I have a promotion exam at the crack of dawn.
😒 Adulting is not as it appears in commercials, I want a refund.
P.S. Please cross your fingers for me?
I found a liquor store that carries the Locke & Key beer* and it's just as delicious as I remembered.
* it's not officially associated with Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, but the label looks like Dodge so I'm gonna keep thinking of it as the Locke & Key beer.
There‘s a key that allows the user to see the past. Why is Bode the one who always finds the keys? And why doesn‘t he find them anymore? These are questions asked in the present but not answered in the past. But many questions are answered for Rendell‘s kids by trips through the past. I must read more books by Joe Hill because he is a master storyteller. He keeps surprising me with every book I read in the series. And keeps posing questions.
So that‘s it for me for 24 hours...
12 hours of book time
6 books down
1,213 pages
An hour or two of an audiobook

Starting #6 for #readathon
I have less than an hour for 24-Hour Mark from where I started. But I‘m going to keep going all weekend regardless ❤️📚

THERE'S MORE!!! ... This series is killing me. Loved reading the backstory in this volume. #HelloOctober
Yay, backstory! I'm super excited to read the conclusion now. :)
In which more unexpected things happen and I spend most of Volume 5 saying "Wait. No. Don't do that."
