To be honest I was bored. The only reason why I finished this book was because I wanted to know what happend to Rose.
It was interesting at times but for the most part I didn't care. I didn't care about any characters either.

so-soYou know, through the entire journey of this novel, nothing strikes me more than the ending. The realization that when you do something that seems so right in the moment, like you're doing good, lands you in a situation so wrong, it's painful to bear even as a reader. While the story itself seems lackluster, I adored this fresh writing style. Very thought provoking at the very least, I know this ending will stick with me for a while.
#libraryloot I've read a couple of this author's books and never really loved them but I keep trying hoping the next one will be The One! I have friends who ❤ her books so I'll be reading this one soon.
Months ago when Libby was first gaining popularity someone commented that they were disappointed it didn't show you where you were on the waitlist. I just noticed they did an update and now they offer wait list information. I love that not only can you see where you are or would be on the list if you placed a title on hold but it also gives you approximate wait time. Yay #Libby!
These are my most anticipated August releases. I'm interested in Kuehn's new book about a school camping trip gone wrong. Some crazy stuff went down in Paper Girls vol. 2 and I'm hoping for some answers in vol. 3. I'm so excited to read Jason Reynolds' novelization of the Miles Morales Spider-Man story! Plus B&N is releasing a collection of ghost stories. Another one to add to my B&N editions library! 😄

I found this book's storyline to be thrilling, so much so that I could hardly put this it down. In short, I was engrossed from the start. The book's main character is in jail for murder, this we find out straight away. What we read is his journal detailing everything that brought him to that fateful, quintessential moment. It's a story of self discovery, heartache, love, survival, and ultimately freedom. #recommended
