1Q84, Book 1 | 
pickThe 1 st book is a slow ride.
You get to know about the characters little by little the good parts and the bad things. We pretty much get interested in both life and the unusual circumstance occurring in front of them.
By the end of the 1st vol, the suspenseful tension is created which drives us to the 2nd volume.
We snowed down today, so I decided I needed some help on my #audiowalk today. Slightly cheating, but it was a nice walk/sleigh. Still enjoying my Murakami book, but it‘s gonna take me a while to get through this #chunkster.

My first book for 2019 is this #chunkster. It‘s the Q1 read for the #Reading1001 group at GR. This will be my first Murakami, very much looking forward to enter his crazy world. I‘m only five chapters in, but so far it‘s intriguing!
It also fit my #AtY2019 challenge for the #multipleperspective prompt. I plan to use book 1-3 for three separate prompts, haven‘t decided which ones for the next two though.

pickAs soon as I started reading this book I knew I was in for an adventure like no other! Kafka on the Shore was the first book that made me intrigued and obsessed with Murakami, I then gobbled up his ‘The Strange Library‘ and couldn‘t wait to start another of his books! I've been able to read a bit more of book 1 of 1q84 by Murakami. I'm loving Aeomame's character and her backstory! It's so sad and beautiful and so unique! The other day I went to a lecture about Japanese author Haruki Murakami, the lecture was held by the Danish translater of Murakamis books, it was really interesting to get to know more about his writing technique and his characters - I definitely want to read more of this author 😊
