Kate Bishop is back in the hot seat in this volume, and it got me thinking"aww, no" at different moments throughout the volume.

I still love Kate; her whip-smart answers, eye on the prize attitude, and love of purple keep me coming back. Not to mention all the unanswered questions this one brought up! Got to find the next volume at the library!

Why this isn't in the database correctly I have no idea, but I submitted a request.

Anyway, this is volume 2, which collects issues 7-12. I feel like it's even better than the first volume. We learn more about Kate's father, Kate kicks a lot of butt, gets closer with her squad of friends, and we get some guest appearances from some big names.

Definitely continuing on with this series.

Am I drafting a Very Important Scene, or am I rocking back and forth so I can see both images on my HAWKEYE #13 lenticular variant? It's anybody's guess.

While my heart says, "All the tacos!" is the only way to go, my stomach reluctantly admits, "Only some of the tacos!" is more practical.

The results of last night's literary tourism at Curious Comics. It's been tough for me to get to my LCS since they moved, so I'm glad of the chance to catch up on HAWKEYE--especially since Curious had the stellar holographic variant cover for #13. #comics

I made it to the LCS for my beloved HAWKEYE and nabbed some recent X-books from the bargain bin for good measure. #comics

I decorated my new bookish bullet journal with my small pile of free digital copy peel-offs.

Hannah went back to her family this morning, and I tried to combat my post-dog depression with a trip to the comic store. I got the last copy of HAWKEYE #8, so I'm glad I didn't delay!
