This manga follows a cat and his mistress through their daily life. Through the eyes of her cat, the readers can witness her solitude, her mood going down, how her work life goes, etc.
I think the cat as a narrator/witness is a very good idea. It's an adulting story, referencing to living alone for the first time, and solitude/isolation that comes with it.

Pardon the poor quality picture but Chipper my cat model wasn‘t cooperating. 😆 I guess it‘s a cat kind of day for me. This was recommended to me on National Cat Lovers Day and it‘s a nice slice of life manga about Miyu & her cat, Chibo. Can‘t go wrong with cats! 🐈‍⬛ 4⭐️

This was cute. One of the #readharder2019 prompts is to read a manga, so I got this one from the library to kick off the year. Only takes maybe an hour total to read, if that. About a single woman and her very cute cat, she is lonely though, yet ends on an optimistic note. Not too deep, but it's a cute little collection. Will I read more manga? Doubt it, but now I know the genre is more diverse in style than I thought previously.

A young Japanese woman lives alone with her cat; that‘s pretty much the entirety of this standalone #manga based on a short film. Miyu and her cat Chibi have a mutually beneficial relationship; the emotional support provided by a companion animal is the whole point. The setting is detailed, giving a strong sense of place; the interior apartment space, elevated trains rattling by outside the window, laundry flapping on the balcony. Slice of life.

First of all I want to say I love Makoto Shinkai and I have seen this on the shelves around Austin at various bookstores but always glanced and nothing more. Well I picked it up yesterday partly because I was supposed to be at an anime convention in Dallas this weekend(another story for another time) and I connected with this story, I feel my sweet 'peaches' looks at me the way chobi does. I dunno my life is so similar to this story, but I'm a man
