1️⃣ As the youngest, my costumes were hand-me-downs & usually had plastic masks that I HATED. When I was 7 or 8 I wanted to be a black cat & my mom got me ears, a tail & eyeliner for my nose & whiskers. I was SO HAPPY!🖤🙀

2️⃣ I read them all year round but I think the Gus the Ghost books count as Halloween themed books & the tagged one was my favorite.👻

Day 18 #FallIntoBooks #sentimental You take a work break to find sentimental favorite children's books you haven't posted about yet & end up on all kinds of sites & E-bay & find the Gus the Ghost books you loved, then you look up the author & find she also wrote the Ginnie & Geneva books you got from your sister & a bazillion other books under different pen names, then you find Baby Island & remember you ❤️it too...Sentimentality is a time suck!🤗

I loved that book! 📚❤️ @RealLifeReading I think you had to be a 70-80s kid in the U.S. for Gus at least! 😆👍 @LeahBergen There are several of them--this pictured one, Ginnie & Geneva, & Ginnie and her Juniors were my faves. 📚💖 7y
