pickIt‘s all finally starting to come together. The world is so incredibly unique and the lore is fully formed and brilliantly explained. It‘s the perfect mix of cozy wholesomeness/macabre and the artwork is breathtaking and hauntingly beautiful but bruh these cliffhangers!!!
pickI just absolutely adore this story. The plot is fleshing out and some mysteries have been answered. But this volume was so much more heartbreaking than the first 2. So while we're learning new things about this world, this volume was a lot harder emotionally.
pickVol 3 completed as well! Oh my goodness the story is getting better and better. Seeing Teacher hurt, both physically and mentally over Shiva is so heartbreaking. Their relationship is truly special and Shiva missing him and then not knowing who to believe anymore, poor baby girl. Now to wait for the next cold from my library.

Also, since I first read Mahoutsukai I was expecting Teacher to be strong. It's nice to see he's not, so I really worry for how he's going to keep her safe from the king/Insiders! 😱😱 #manga #fantasy
pickWait! I want to re-do my #riotgrams day 4 pick for purple covers. I originally picked up this manga series because of the incredible cover, and once I started reading I was hooked. This story is perfect for anyone, from a 9-year-old who likes spooky stories to adults who love this art style. The kids at the library book club kept asking me where the “backward book” was after I talked about this series 💜

There are some answers in volume 3 of this all-ages #manga fantasy series, but the questions continue. The English #translation of volume 4 isn‘t due out until March, so I must be patient. It‘s a remarkable #comic.
