Saitama a determined superhero that fights many monsters without any difficulties. Every monster he fights he defeats with one punch. Because of this he grows bored of his powerful self and desires to find a strong opponent to take on. On his journey to look for a worthy rival he finds a cyborg that wants to be his apprentice and accepts his request.

The denotation of One Punch Man is that the main character can do one punch. The connotation (which is almost literally the denotation) is that the main character can defeat an enemy in one punch.

Review of series as a whole to not flood the TL:
Amazing art combined with a surprisingly incredible narrative. Probably the best manga series I‘ve read.

Everybody is after the secret of Satima's (One Punch Man) power. They want to know what it is that has made him so unstoppable. When he finally tells them his secret (the panel above) they can't believe it. That can't possibly be the only reason he is so strong...can it? Anyone could do that...🤔

ONE is one of the best writers in #manga today; I especially like what he does with Mob Psych 100, though I've only watched the adaptation of that one.

Got a little carried away placing holds. 😅 Sad thing is I'm not done yet, I have a lot of manga and graphic novels I want to catch up on. If you have any recommendations let me know!

Lov is his book

It's silly, over the top, tongue in cheek humour is great. I was worried it would be a basic shonen comic, but instead it takes laughs at all those tropes.

It's fun. It's absurd. I love it. Looking forward to reading more.

Overwhelming power may be boring, but this comic sure isn't :)

Real talk: I expected to love this book, given what I've heard...and I didn't? It was fine, I didn't hate it, and the premise was great, but it just didn't click with me.
