Nova Scotia History With a Twist
Nova Scotia History With a Twist: True and Unusual Stories from Bruce Nunn | Bruce Nunn
3 posts | 2 read
Bruce Nunn's popular History with a Twist now has a fresh new look as Nova Scotia History with a Twist. It still includes the same educational yet entertaining stories. You'll meet the man who lived inside Halifax's Old Town Clock, the man who started the Klondike gold rush, courageous sea captains, makers of illegal tartan, the saviour of Seal Island, the ghost of the first Christmas tree, and many more.

❄ Nope
❄ Relax and spending time with family
❄ Sewing and crocheting
❄ Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick
❄ Do you guys workout? If yes, how many times per week?

@howjessreads #friyayintro 😊💜

wanderinglynn I used to. Then life. 😕 But I‘m going to start back up next month (I have some travel in the next 2 weeks, so that‘s why not until March). I‘m going to aim for 2x per week, then slowly build back up to 4x. 5y
Crazeedi I was a competitive bodybuilder for 14 years, then I just burned out. So my workouts now are my gardens in summer, not much in winter, I've had back and hip issues. As soon as I'm recovered from my hip surgery I will start my walking 2 plus mile loop around my farm! 5y
Sharpeipup Yes. Ideally, my workout would be 3x at the gym & 2x at yoga per week. 5y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I started doing DDP Yoga in January. I try to do it 3x a week if not more, plus I'm out walking my dog at least once a day. I'll add some extra exercises in if I'm getting good. 5y

This made me laugh out loud a lot, but that may be because I spent part of my childhood in this province, and I understood the references. Funny a lot of the time, too punny the rest, and I learned stuff: the guy who discovered DNA, a Nova Scotian, Queen Victoria's dad Prince Edward was here running military efforts for years, the guy who predicted and mapped the Klondike gold rush--you guessed it--Nova Scotian. The list goes on. Onto the sequel.

RaimeyGallant Whoops! I chose blurb instead of review. Ah well. 7y
