pickI finally finished this over the weekend. I didn't love the audiobook narrator-her men's voices in particular got on my nerves & I was not as much of a fan of the MC, Jessie Cole as I am of the MCs in the author's other 2 series, but the intersecting storylines were intriguing. I downloaded book 2 on my Kindle & have a feeling I'll like reading them better than listening. I'm interested in how the characters develop-especially crime reporter Ben.
My #audiosouping pick today. This thriller that I started about seven months ago & keep putting down to listen to other books. Trying to finish it & a few other started books before the end of the year. The weekend has not been very weekend-like. I had to teach a class Saturday so today is laundry, soup, blogging & getting ready for the coming week. Creamy Mushroom Soup from Ruth Reichl seems like good comfort food. 😋🍄🍲

It's a good match for Suspenseful Sunday. While my soup is bubbling away, I used leftovers to make salmon-fried rice. Salmon & brown rice are always good for dinner-but even better in breakfast fried rice.😋Happy Sunday
