I originally picked this book because it takes place on Edisto Island where I was supposed to go on vacation next week. Well, we know how that turned out. This book was a good substitute- the author did a great job encapsulating the atmosphere of Edisto. The book itself is about families, secrets, and forgiveness. I really enjoyed it.

The one thing that bothered me was that the male protagonist had no problem using his staff as baby sitters 🤯

First Karen White novel I‘ve read and it won‘t be the last. I adored this book!

Diving into my first ever Karen White novel...I‘m finding myself intrigued already!

Two from my tbr shelf pertaining to time ⏳⌛️

Karen White is one of my favorite authors, because of her ability to weave multi-layered stories about love and loss, and to create memorable characters who grow and change in both subtle and profound ways. She transitions effortlessly between past and present, revealing just enough information to keep the reader engaged. This book wrecked me, and made me think about how we choose to live with the consequences of our actions. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I‘m not ashamed to say that I woke my husband up by first laughing and later bawling 😭 over this book. It‘s, perhaps, more embarrassing to admit that I shook off his words of comfort so I could get back to the story. Poor guy! Great Book!! It‘s about the relationship between sisters, love, loss, jealousy and guilt. Mostly, it‘s about finding purpose in your own life, living in the present, forgiving yourself, and choosing to be happy. 4.5⭐️s!

FINALLY have some time to read! My two reading buddies are glad I‘m sitting for a bit, too. They usually don‘t tolerate each other except to wrestle, but the dog is actually letting the cat sit on top of her. 😂 I‘m really enjoying The Time Between. I didn‘t mean to start reading it, but got so intrigued when I bought it on discount that I took a peak at the first chapter, and, well...Now I‘ll just have to finish!

Karen White's books are always a favorite. This one was about trying to forgive yourself.

This book was absolutely wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, the lessons learned, and the book's comfortable pace.
