Much better than the first book, lots of interesting world building and myth and the romantic logic was a bit better.
Elena is thrust into a new world and very dangerous politics and must learn to defend herself from many angels who want to end her.

Book #2 and it didn‘t disappoint! It was a little slower than book #1 but she‘s still world-building with this one. I think the next book is going to be even better. Meanwhile, I‘m just over here trying to figure out which member of the Seven I‘d like to take to my bed. 🤣🤣

Just amazing

Why is there not a 10 star rating? Hmmmmmmm...Loved, Loved, Loved Loved this book.. I don't even no where to start.....What an amazing story for Naasir and Andromeda..Ms. Singh did not disappoint..Her word building, character description and possible location of the Refuge? Excellent..All of our characters come in this story and seem to play critical roles for future stories..Even new characters that my be paired with some of the Seven? Excellent!

Book two of this series follows more intricate angel and archangel politics and mystery. I enjoyed this book more than book 1, although it does have a bit of the feel of a bridge book in the series. I'm warming to the love interest, who is gradually becoming...less inhuman, perhaps? And therefore definitely hotter, too!

Not to be read as a stand-alone.
