1) The tagged book. My oldest sister bought me a set of the first three. She's gone so I hold these close.
2) My Sisters Keeper. I love Jodi Picoult, but I read this after the movie came out and I had it stuck in my head that I'd hate it, though I never saw the movie?
3) Another Jodi Picoult, Song of the Humpback Whales. I just couldn't get into it. I'm so glad it wasn't my first book of hers that I read!

Started watching Anne with an E. I‘m such a Megan Follows fanboy that it‘s really hard to embrace the new Anne. Show is good though! Might read the books soon.

I'm really appreciating Marilla's just & compassionate nature this go around. Matthew is still my favourite, tho. I teared up when he said "only be as good and kind to her as you can be without spoiling her." ♥️
(If I'm being honest, I tear up in every chapter.)

I am loving the time I spend with Anne. I try to read a chapter before work and it's a wonderful way to start each day. I definitely have to show restraint and not read ahead. 🙂 #Kindredspiritsbuddyread

Caught up for the #Kindredspiritsbuddyread. There are so many good phrases a day quotes. The language is very engaging and creates a beautiful picture. 😊

Found some beautiful children‘s books at a bookstore today for a dollar. Sorry, but my students won‘t be handling these copies 🙂

I just found this copy of Anne in my basement. I feel I can say with a high degree of certainty this is my 3rd copy of Anne. Also I know I bought it solely because of the cover illustration. Lauren Child is my fav.
It was hard but I passed the book along to our 9 year old neighbour. She is a voracious reader.
Side note. There is a glossary in this one with words like cordial and aid-society!

Today I started Anne of Green Gables while waiting for the Rammstein concert to start. 40 minutes to go until the support band starts!
