We then go with Josie through a variation of present day and flashback chapters which details the extent she goes to to reveal the betrayal and her own examination of their marriage through the years piecing together where it all fell apart.
This is raw and real and explores all our questions of what we would do if placed in this situation.

May 11, 2020 Really enjoyed the book. It only revolved around one event but it ends on a good note. High note I should say. 4.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

I thought this book was going to be really good boy was I wrong!! It was very boring! I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for it to get good but it didn‘t!!!

It wasn‘t what I was expecting but I still enjoyed it. It‘s a domestic read, not much action. But it explores the impact of an affair on one particular marriage with nuance and sensitivity.

Good, quick read so far. It‘s basically the aftermath of an affair as experienced by the wife who‘s the victim.

I bailed. I got tried of her talking about the affair. I guess that's all the book is about. On to a better book, hopefully.

Just finished this one on audio. It was a good story, I think it could have better but not sure how. 🤔 Josie discovers a devastating secret her husband Frank is keeping from her. Can they find their way back to the way they were??? You will have to read the book for the answer to that question.

I‘ve read some not so great reviews in this- I‘m only half way thru it.. and so far, I like it. I think maybe people were expecting a suspense like “the wife between us” but it‘s not that genre. This is not a thriller at all- it‘s a book about the breakdown of a marriage. So if you go into knowing that, it‘s not disappointing. I think the publisher made a mistake saying it‘s for fans of “big little lies”-

I have like 35 pages left and I‘m just not even going to finish. Nothing happens. I get that it‘s a good insight into what goes into a wife‘s mind when her husband is unfaithful, but, nothing happens.

I really liked The Wife Between Us and wanted to like this one more.

Marital problems drive Josie into therapy where she admits she likes reading alone upstairs while her husband is watching sports downstairs...
