The Milwaukee Murders
The Milwaukee Murders: Nightmare in Apartment 213 : the True Story | Don Davis
On 22nd July 1991, a panic-stricken young man with a pair of manacles dangling from his wrist, ran out of apartment 213, Oxford Apartments, Milwaukee and told the police an incredible tale of terror. When he led officers back to his captor's lair, they made a gruesome discovery - torsos stuffed in a barrel, severed heads piled up in the fridge and skulls stacked neatly in the filing cabinet. Tacked to the freezer were photographs of the mutilated corpses and in the middle, 31-year-old Jeffery Dahmer, serial killer. This book tells the story of this case of true crime.

Y'all know I know my serial killers 😬💋 the book is decent and I'm trying to get into the Netflix show but it's kind of a buzzkill because I know the story already. People are so shocked with the show. Do they not know what mentally/emotionally deranged individuals are capable of? Dahmer's story is definitely one of the more disturbing/fascinating from a mental illness standpoint. Spooky season #truecrime.

EvieBee Yeah, he was “a lot.” Disassociation is something that needs to be noticed early. 1y
bibliobliss @EvieBee Yes. So many people dropped the ball around Dahmer. 1y

My husband and I binged all 10 episodes this weekend! I can‘t say I “enjoyed” this series but it did keep me watching. I felt so bad for the many victims, including the families of those he killed. Just awful! Given this I definitely think he counts as a killer for my #scarathlondailyprompts +5 points for the photo prompt and +50 for all ten episodes! #scarathlon #teamslaughter

Incredible book that goes through the life of Jeffrey Dahmer and his victims. This is not a play by play of police procedures. This book tells a definitive story with lots of background information. Well researched and easy to follow.
I would recommend this book to those interested in true crime/serial killers.

keepingupwiththepenguins Oooh, sounds fantastic! I'm a long time true-crime junkie, will be checking it out. 5y

Okay so many of you may not know but I LOVE TRUE CRIME books, I've been reading these since I can remember . I found this oldie but a goodie and I had to buy it. These things blow my mind and they are the true horror. I did a report on Jeffery Dahmer in high school and on charles manson and it was horrific. When i was little i wanted to grow up to be a detective, but I never pursued it so I read true crime instead! #truecrime

AshleyHoss820 When my Dad was a prosecuting attorney, he had to go to a conference about identifying serial killers. At the time, Dahmer was the most recent, so they talked about that quite a bit. 😊 We had interesting dinner table conversations to say the least...😄 6y
MStew Omg that's awesome I'm a interesting way! Wow your dad is COOL! 6y
Amiable I used to read a lot of true-crime as well. Favorites include "Helter Skelter" and "In Cold Blood." (edited) 6y

AshleyHoss820 @meghan2714 My Dad is indeed cool. 😄 Part of being the prosecuting attorney for the county we live in means you‘re also the coroner. I needed bugs for science class...my Dad brought me home maggots. Three guesses where he got them...😂😂😂 Needless to say, I share your absolute fascination with True Crime! 6y
