The first part of this book seemed to be a replica of Book 2, but the last half of of the book totally redeemed itself for me. The ending was well thought out and creative. I couldn't have asked for a better final 100 pages. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There are so many open ends. It's hard to believe that this trilogy is done. Here's hoping Vic has another book in her!

I really enjoyed this series!!! Lots to think about, but lots of action and adventure, too. You should start with the first, Gilded Cage.

This was a great end to the trilogy. It did drag in some places, but overall it kept the same pace as the first two novels. As a whole, this was an amazing story. Equals fighting to maintain power and further oppressed the UnSkilled (commoners), and commoners fighting for their freedom. I did have an idea of how it‘d all end early on but I enjoyed reaching the conclusion all the same. From start to finish, James managed to keep the rhythm👇🏻

Robothugs Going strong throughout. Sad to see it end but he did right by it. (First book in the trilogy is tagged) (edited) 5y

Great ending to this series! Still, lots of death in this one and some chapters definitely felt more telling than showing, but I liked the bits with Luke & Silyen too much to care. ❤

I really dislike this cover and the others they did with the hands. I dunno, just looks corny.

A bit late, but whatever! Last month was a good month for graphic novels, but not much else. I don't think I'm going to make my 100 book goal lol

MAN this series was so good! The ending is a bit open, but I think it works despite my intense desire to know every detail of everything that happened. This one was a truly addicting read, and I greatly enjoyed every second. There were some interesting surprises as well. Totally recommend. I think it‘s a really excellent dystopian series, and I haven‘t read one of those in a while.

thevictoriousone @Slajaunie I think you‘d really enjoy this series! 5y

This is the last book in the Dark Gifts trilogy. Loved them all! A dystopian alternate history. The characters were wonderful and the whole building was fantastic. I wonder what the author is going to do next?

#NetGalley ARC, out in October: Loved the end to this trilogy. Lots of loose ends from the second book were tied up. Watching the Hadley family grow and change as they continue to face the difficulties in their society is rewarding throughout the story, and the Jardine family members' development is also fascinating.

BookFreakOut Aaaaaaa I requested but haven't gotten approval or disapproval yet!!! So excited!!! 6y
ElyssaReads @BookFreakOut I hope you get approval ASAP so we can discuss our feelings!! 6y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The entire trilogy by Vic James is amazing. She really blew my mind with her premise. The entire political aspect is wonderful, a bit on the nose, but so very interesting and I just love all of the characters even the bad ones. If you‘re at all into fantasy YA give this one a try it‘s worth it. The first one is: Gilded Cage.

Kimberlone I enjoyed the first one, but haven‘t had a chance to catch up on the sequel. I didn‘t even realize a third had even come out yet! 6y
Vinjii @Kimberlone Release date in the US is sadly October. Don‘t know why the U.K. gets it earlier... 6y
Kimberlone @Vinjii gotcha! I guess I need to catch up on number two before the third comes out in the US 6y
