I make honeysuckle cake once a year when the vines are in full bloom around our garden and it's always a big deal for us around here: from picking the honeysuckle, letting it soak overnight, to straining and making the syrup the next morning!
Two vanilla cake layers covered in buttercream frosting (honeysuckle syrup included). This year Haven decorated it for me with honeysuckle vine and lemon balm from our garden.
