Invisible | James Patterson, David Ellis
Everyone thinks Emmy Dockery is crazy. Obsessed with finding the link between hundreds of unsolved cases, Emmy has taken leave from her job as an FBI researcher. Now all she has are the newspaper clippings that wallpaper her bedroom, and her recurring nightmares of an all-consuming fire. Not even Emmy's ex-boyfriend, field agent Harrison "Books" Bookman, will believe her that hundreds of kidnappings, rapes, and murders are all connected. That is, until Emmy finds a piece of evidence he can't afford to ignore. More murders are reported by the day--and they're all inexplicable. No motives, no murder weapons, no suspects. Could one person really be responsible for these unthinkable crimes? INVISIBLE is James Patterson's scariest, most chilling stand-alone thriller yet.

A brutal, graphic and mind twisting mystery with the perfect title. My husband and I listened to this on a long road trip and it made the time fly. I‘m looking forward to reading more in this series, but it is definitely a stand alone story.

I read this book in one sitting! WOW! It was awesome! But that is James Patterson for you! Love this author. Reading another one of his books and almost finished with it. Highly recommend! (Oh, and a Marguerita goes well with a good book...or wine! lol)

I really enjoyed this novel. I especially liked getting the view point of the killer, it was a refreshing change from the usual mystery novel.

I‘m not sure why I didn‘t read this book when it came out like I normally read Patterson‘s books, but wow! This is one of my favorites! I found myself so deep in the story and I couldn‘t put this book down! When I found out the second book, Unsolved, was coming out I realized I hadn‘t read Invisible yet and knew I needed to! Now I‘m so ready for the second. I actually hope that James Patterson and David Ellis will make this a full blown series!

Well. It was a page turner. But there was so much that was implausible!! Leaps that they made on some pieces but obvious things they missed on others. Plus there were several times I wanted to punch Emmy.

I rated this book 3.5.. It was a fast paced read but quite a few things were left unanswered and the plot twist just felt like a cop out. Not missing out on anything if you don't pick it up.
