A book about three strangers that meet
#AdventRecommends December 13th
A thick book to get lost in. About thee strangers who through the book meet, become friends and roommates.
Such a sweet and comporting read.
Camille, Philibert and Franck, three strangers who through coincidences meet. They each have their issues with friends and family. I loved this. It‘s not often I read a 600+p book in 5 days after work.
The only thing I‘m asking myself is why didn‘t I read this sooner? After all it has been standing on my shelves close to 15 yrs.
The last third is my #BookSpin for July

A light read to practice my french skills before my trip to Lille in Northfrance in two weeks😍 does anyone know any cute bookstores there? 😊
Day9 #readingresolutions @Jess7 #foreignreads I‘ve had this french book on my TBR shelf for many years now, this year I will finally finish it! I loved the movie and have read it in german as well, back when I was still in school, otherwise my french would probably not be good enough for it😅
So it was okay. A nice story about four lonely people that come together. Too long and the sweet moments were stretched out too far to do more than skim along through much of the dialogue. Not bad but I'm really searching for that "knock my socks off" read for the end of the year - this just wasn't it I'm afraid.
Looking forward to blowing out of here today to start the Christmas holidays!! Lots of cleaning, wrapping, last minute gift shopping and grocery shopping! Looking forward to really settling more into this book (Hunting and Gathering) by the fire! ❤🎄🔥🎄 Merry Ho Ho to you all!!
And hurray! Noticed this became available as an e-book from the library!! Have been wanting to read this one... sounds like the perfect read to settle down with this weekend by a roaring fire since it's so *^#!! cold outside!! ☃️☃️🔥🔥☃️☃️❄️❄️🌬🌨
This book is beautiful and great with characters that are lonely misfits that are easy to love. I loved it, and it made me love Anna Gavalda. I've read some of her other books, but this one was my first and has a special place in my heart! (I don't get the English title though.)
