A little rainy this morning, so I haven‘t taken Jack out yet. He‘s a little needy today 😂 #dogsoflitsy
The story line of this book is so creatively written. It‘s not a typical thriller. Many times I had to check how much time I had left because I thought it was wrapping up, but the story kept evolving. The author does an outstanding job describing everything. 5🌟
Great read! The storyline was new and interesting. The details and relationship from past to present always moved the story forward.
So...ummmmm.... since I travel all over Georgia for work, I get to check out books from other GA libraries. I really did not need 3 more books 😯 #blessmyownheart
Books heading back to the library today and not a stinker in the bunch! Still need to read the tagged book sometime soon(ish) #librarylove
I thoroughly enjoyed this one- much more than the author‘s first book! Though I did see the #PlotTwist coming, there were still nuances that surprised me and definitely left me with some unforgettable scenes! It‘s a story of friendship, betrayal and murder. #AreFriendsElectric? They most certainly are here with so much thunder and lightning in the background! #2018BookBinge @jesshowbooks #NUYear @TrishB @Cinfhen
Nate McHale returns to his hometown of Greystone Lake for the funeral of a girl who disappeared 14 years earlier. Nate soon learns that the actions of his violent and turbulent youth have consequences years later that he must now face. There's a lot going on in this book, but it all adds to the story. The Storm King is very well written, although it took a little time for me to get into this novel, once I did, I was hooked. Rated 4/5. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have a little time before I head to work and I have the house to myself, so hopefully I will get some reading done. I just received the ARC of The Storm King the other day! 😊
Yay! Just opened my email and found out that I won another Goodreads giveaway!
"Haunted by dark secrets and an unsolved mystery, a young doctor returns to his isolated Adirondacks hometown in a tense, atmospheric novel in the vein of Michael Koryta and Harlan Coben."
