Real-life story of heartache, love and hope. A good book with a loss of a child, divorce and suicide all mixed in. Again...real life.

So, imagine me wandering through a liquor store listening to the final hour of this book, while trying not to ugly cry. I am normally cautious around some Christian fiction because it seems to ignore some of the stark realities of the world. Not so this book. This book addresses profound grief, suicide, adultery, death and dying, while also demonstrating the power of grace and forgiveness. A beautifully written story.

Some heavy issues and decisions in this one, and I ended up in tears, both the happy and sad kind (so be warned). 😊😔 I loved the writer‘s ability to put the reader IN the situations and really make them think about how they‘d handle a myriad of dilemmas. Great characters, emotional angst, but in the end it‘s a question of faith and forgiveness and how difficult those things are at times. Looking forward to more from this #LitsyAuthor! 4.5/5⭐️

Beginning this novel about relationship angst as we deal with our own angst...driving to Florida for vacation in the middle of a Tropical Storm Warning...yeah, that‘s us. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🙄🙄😳😳😬😜😫😱 (Sometimes they‘re just not enough emojis).

Started this lovely book today.
