I've been in a bit of a reading funk for what feels like months now, so I'm going to try participating in #ForTheLoveofBooks Labor Day weekend readathon and see if that helps!! 😂 I'm not sure exactly what I'll be reading yet, but sometime very soon I need to read the tagged so I can mail it on its journey.

I moved to a new town about a month ago. I finally got a chance to check out the local library and this is what I picked up on my first trip!

First book of the #cocoturns50 readathon completed!

This was a surprisingly emotional mystery, the first in the best selling Louise Rick series. I liked it enough that I checked out the next book in the series through Libby.

I'm on a crime fiction kick, and now I'm wondering if I should have been on TeamSlaughter for #Scarathlon2020 instead. 🤣

I enjoyed this book. Louise Rick is a very interesting detective. The two cases were also very interesting and the outcome was surprising.

I had been looking forward to this - first in a series, Scandinavian best seller available for the first time ever in English but then it left me feeling meh 😩 fast paced enough just didn‘t love the leading ladies.
