pick152/150 This book is a lot of old fashion pulp style fun, reminds me of the Brandon Fraiser Mummy movies. There are mummies, vampires, ghouls, ancient curses, furious chases and narrow escapes, all told in a lighthearted way. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel. 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sand. For someone who has spent the better part of the last four decades digging, burrowing like scarab, day and night it seemed, into mountains of dry, golden trickling, windswept tombs, I have never gotten comfortable with the stuff.
