I really liked this! It was fun, cute, and I liked the main character. Glad I snagged this one when I saw my library had it.

Very excellent #libraryloot #bookhaul today:
Two Can Keep a Secret, Karen M. McManus;
Mammoth, Jill Baguchinsky; and
The Boneless Mercies, April Genevieve Tucholke.
I can't decide which one to read first!

RadicalReader @KimmyM nothing more magnificent than getting some lovely riveting reads from the lovely library 6y

I didn‘t expect to enjoy this #YA novel as much as I did but Baguchinsky is able to confront weight stigma while telling a teenage tale in a wonderful way.

I don‘t trust the Roomba on it‘s own yet (we just got it as a wedding gift and have only used it once!) so I followed it around tonight while I finished my book 🤣 This one was between a pick and a so-so for me. I loved the evolution of Natalie‘s character throughout this book. The story was light and entertaining. However, many things happened that I felt weren‘t realistic so it was hard for me to be all in. Still an enjoyable read!!

LittleBug You‘ll get used to it after the first few times. We‘ve had a roomba for about 6 months now and I love coming home to clean floors😉 6y
kstadt929 @LittleBug Last night it started making a weird noise when it was vacuuming. I stopped it to check it out...it found a random dryer sheet somewhere, which got stuck in the brush. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was able to pull it out, but this is why I don‘t trust it yet! The first time we used it, it missed the living room and then spent 25 minutes going back and forth in our bedroom (couldn‘t find the door to get out) 🤣 6y
LittleBug But I bet you‘re having fun with the thing, right? We had a good laugh when it got stuck under the couch when I was sitting on it🙈. Did you name it too? When the app asked for a name my husband expected me to come up with something and I just happened to be reading about a butler named Montgomery... so we now have Montgomery vacuuming our house🤣 6y
kstadt929 @LittleBug Oh yes, I love it! It is funny to see what it does. Perfect timing for a book with a Butler! Ha! We named ours Rupert 🤣 6y
LittleBug Rupert!! I like it🤣 6y

Mammoth was good. Natalie had some major character growth which I loved. Not sure the wee bit of romance was necessary, but it was nice to see Natalie going from faking her confidence, to actually believing in herself.
A solid YA.

I received this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Overall, this was a unique young adult novel full of paleontology fun, a dash of funky fashion, and a sprinkle of romance.
