The Light of All That Falls
The Light of All That Falls | James Islington

"Love The Wheel of Time? This is about to become your new favorite series." - B&N SF & Fantasy Blog The Light of All that Falls concludes the epic adventure that began in The Shadow of What Was Lost, the acclaimed fantasy blockbuster from James Islington. The Boundary is whole once again, but it may be too late. Banes now stalk Andarra, while in Ilin Illan, the political machinations of a generation come to a head as Wirr's newfound ability forces his family's old enemies into action. Imprisoned and alone in a strange land, Davian is pitted against the remaining Venerate as they work tirelessly to undo Asha's sacrifice - even as he struggles with what he has learned about the friend he chose to set free. Finally, Caeden is confronted with the reality of the plan he laid centuries ago - heartbroken at how it began, and devastated by how it must end. "Islington has built a world with all the right genre elements: complex magic, terrifying threats out of legend, political intrigue, and a large cast of characters whose motivations are seldom clear. Fans of doorstop epic fantasy will not be disappointed." - Publishers Weekly "Ingeniously plotted... Islington's natural storytelling ability provides incessant plot twists and maintains a relentless pace... A promising page-turner from a poised newcomer." -Kirkus The Licanius TrilogyThe Shadow of What Was LostAn Echo of Things to ComeThe Light of All That Falls

I just received the final book in the Licanius trilogy from The Broken Binding.

It‘s nice to have hardcovers. The edges are sprayed orange, red, blue. Signed & numbered.

Loved this trilogy and this book. I think there's supposed to be a spin off or sequel, hoping!

Such a good ending to a very complicated and interesting story. I think the time travel element in this series was well executed and all of the event along the timeline fit well together in the end. However I think I would have to read the series again (now that I know how it ends and who is who in what time period) to fully understand all the details especially in the first two books.

I finally managed to finish this one. The current state of the world has drastically reduced my audiobook listening time and so this one took a while. Absolutely fantastic series though, even if I did manage to predict a major part of the ending. Phenomenally well done.

One of my most anticipated books...only I've been waiting for the release of the TPB so it would match the first two.

Whatever. Screw it. I bought the ebook. I'll just have to re-buy the trade when it finally comes out.

I needed a distraction from all the bullshit and this thicc boi fits the bill perfectly.
🤷‍♂️😅

3. My daily email from The Squiz
4. I usually wake up before the alarm, so mostly no.

Last on the trilogy and my least favorite but if you‘ve been following the series definitely read on.

ReadingVampire Does it end well? Are you satisfied? Do you think there will be a fourth? 5y
beaconhillbooks Yes it ends well and there will be a spin-off series (Aelric/Dezia) somewhere down the line but Licanius stops here. 5y
