It was okay. I felt the main character was a bit too one dimensional 😑 A part of me is curious about volume 2 because I want to know the direction that the story is headed in. However, I also need this protagonist to have more depth - unless, it‘s intentional 😆

pickI really enjoyed this one! Dayoung is a teenage police officer who goes back to the 80‘s from a dystopian, futuristic 2013 in order to prevent a scientific corporation from developing technology that will create her corrupted reality. 😆Say that five times fast! pickIt was cool. A bit confusing at times, but that's to be expected of a time travel book with two timelines alternating back and forth. Really liked the characters and the art style. (52)
Book 3 of #readathon done - I do realize that I've only managed to read comics today but with my parents visiting and my two kids being their usual rowdy selves, readathons are never easy. But it's always fun to participate anyway!
pickDiscovered this on a list of comics featuring strong female protagonists. Some twisty turny time travel elements and more action heavy than i tend to like. panSo the art was REALLY cool but that's about all this graphic novel had going for it, which is a shame because it seemed like it had a lot of potential. The story is just way too convoluted for the sake of being convoluted. 😕

It's got time travel, a smart, talented, stubborn Asian girl hero, and a fast moving story. I love that Dayoung Johansson (Rocket Girl) is Asian and a strong girl respected in both the past and her present; that there's a lot of visual diversity; that a lesbian couple is part of the story; & more!
