This is the book I‘m reading. So far, it‘s okay but I‘m not liking it very much. I‘ve only listened to the first 5 chapters and I don‘t have any idea what‘s going on. I‘m kind of having a hard time following the story but I‘m doing the best I can.

A freebie from Amazon when they sent me the wrong book and I decided to check it out. Quick read with some solid writing but few real surprises - yet enjoyable!
Enjoyed the book, easy read and some good twists & turns. The cons would be that it didn't wrap up very well, it was too quick. Although I suppose it leaves room for a follow-up book... Also, as others have mentioned, weren't the two main characters a little too closely related to be involved together? But other than that, good book and I'm looking forward to more books by this author.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ A sweet, simple mystery surrounding an old mansion in a VA shore town & family mysteries it holds. Lucy returns to her Mother‘s hometown to bury her ashes & take ownership of The Winter Cottage. But it comes with conditions, secrets, & some kissing cousins (which I found very odd that no one bats an eyelash). There were a few editing issues, useless twists, & wraps up too quick. But I really enjoyed it.

Just started, a little slow getting started. Chesapeake Bay and the Eastern Shore of Virginia is where the book is located.... so I'm struggling on😀
While I did really enjoy this, I found it very difficult to keep track of the family tree. Thankfully the author put an ancestry tree in the front and I probably referenced it 30 times.
