There is plenty of #RedAndGreen on my 12-day sticker advent calendar (& other colors too) but I mainly chose it for today‘s prompt because I was excited to open Day 1 & get the â€œSeasonal Sipsâ€ sticker page on the top right. Stickers make me happy! ðŸ˜‰â¤ï¸ðŸ’š

Aimeesue Oil works. Can take a bit of time, but it's rare when it doesn't work. Put it on and leave it for a few minutes, then you can scrape the sticker off with a credit card or similar. Just make sure the cover won't absorb the oil (rare, but can happen with older books.) I've even used peanut butter. (edited) 1y

Aimeesue We get a lot of stickered books donated to the Book Sale, and they really annoy me, especially when they're obscuring the title or author's name, so I've learned! If it's a valuable book, I'll bring it home and use Goo Gone, so I don't risk damaging it, but with ordinary ones, I just use vegetable oil. (edited) 1y

IndoorDame I often use goo gone if I have it. But last time I ranted about book stickers one litten told me the nail polish removal got rid of the residue. Just used sparingly or it risked damaging the pigment on some covers. And it kinda worked like magic! 1y

bookishbitch YES!!! I can usually get then off with good gone. I abhor the ones where the "sticker" is part of the printing in the cover. Like why?!?! (Also can I share this photo?) 1y

mandarchy I use Demco book cleaner. The big container has lasted over 10 years! With that, I also use a very thin chisel. Sometimes, all it takes is the chisel. Usually, the sticker over the ISBN barcode is my worst enemy. 1y

Why do you think we fought so hard to kick out you Brits back in the 18th century? GondorGirl @Nutmegnc They have themed monthly subscription packs and also you can just buy stickers from them. I like that they work with lots of different artists, so they have some really unusual designs. 2y

I've never had as many stickers as this... some of them are so pretty I don't know if I will use them! ðŸ˜… I tend to set myself goals (in, say, a notebook) and then reward myself with stickers when I've completed them. 2y

Nutmegnc @RaeLovesToRead from the US an international stamp is $1.30 for a regular sized envelope and $2.60 for a large flat envelope. That seems doable for@me from the US. ðŸ¤·â€â™€ï¸ 2y
