The best way I would describe this book is a great intro to the “murder-mystery” world. It‘s light enough to not stick with you but dark enough to prepare for other murder mysteries. A classic “everyone is miserable” atmosphere with a good mystery throughout. My few critics would be some inconsistencies in the story, but minor compared to others I‘ve read. Truly recommend for a way to scratch a mystery itch. #mystery #fun #mysteryrecommendation

This was a quick little mystery set in England, revolving around a haphazard group of woman that formed a book club, none of the characters were very like able so it could have been any of them I guess that‘s what gave the story some interest

This was really promising beginning for the new series. Maybe characters should have been a bit more fleshed out to make it easier to remember who was who.

I loved the setting and the idea of book club meetings with cakes. This book kept me trying to guess who was the guilty and I love how frustrated it made me. Ending was thrilling!!
