Almost made it. I think I made it to about 19.5 hours at the end of the night last night. Yesterday I got some audiobook in to and from work, about a chapter in during my lunch break, and about 45 minutes in before bed. But I am still not feeling great, however feel I did good considering! Lol

835 pages and I feel like I need a sequel 😩 I thought the ending was done well but I am left wanting to know what happened to them all! It‘s one of the most immersive novels I‘ve read; when I wasn‘t reading it I was thinking about it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kloves2read If you liked this book, you would like Slammerkin by Emma Donahue. I liked this book as well. It started out slow but once it picked up the story was enjoyable and the characters were well developed. 3y

BarbaraBB Yes I read it but it wasn‘t as memorable to me as it is to you. I read it a long time ago so it might well have been me. I do love Michel Faber though, all of his books! 3y

Well over 20 hours of reading, I didn‘t run a timer the last couple days though.

Finished everything above except Mexican Gothic, which I just started yesterday.
2 new favorites: The Way of Kings & Razorblade Tears
Enjoyed everything but All the Feels & The Holiday Swap were just ok.
Sadly both were mildly disappointing, which is a trend this past year for contemporary romances.

Murder mystery set in London in the 1930s. Strong female heroine and sidekick/love interest. Villainous villains. Dumb detectives. Interesting botanical information. And a plot with not too obvious twists.

I hope this will have a sequel.
