Holding a cuddly boy while he naps has allowed me to finish this AMAZING 9th book in the Kim Stone series. My heart hurt after the ending of the previous book and this one was difficult reliving it with Kim and her team. So glad to learn more about Penn! He‘s great! This series deserves all the stars!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Another awesome one in the series . Carrying on from the big shocking ending of the last one.
No complaints from me!

#weeklyforecast - I have one, though how much I stick to it who knows.
I started Mexican Gothic yesterday but it wasn‘t holding my interest, may come back to it as it‘s my last one for #booked2020
Hopefully finish Fatal Promise today.
Olive picked due to @squirrelbrain and @Oryx endorsements 😁
And a bit of history with my friend William Marshall ❤️
#feastmode isn‘t going as well as I was hoping. Lots of distractions with home remodeling, Matthew, and life. I am determined to get some reading time in today since we don‘t have a lot going on. 😀 Up before everyone else and ready to roll!
Relaxing while my little man naps. This calls for Christmas Vacation and catching up with Kim Stone! 🤓 #feastmode
Benefit of being up before the rest of the house: getting to dive into the next Kim Stone and watch New Girl for the gazillianth time! 🤓💕
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ FYI, fans! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Started this on the train to work yesterday morning and finished it this morning! I love the Kim Stone series and this one, number 9, is one of the best. I even teared up at the end - slightly embarrassing on the train! 😁
I already have books 10 and 11 on my Kindle- trying to resist the urge to dive straight in....
Just seen this for kindle at 99p......i do love a thriller

Another great book in this series.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘It‘s the shock, guv,‘ Bryant said. ‘You‘ve pushed your leg too hard. You need to be checked—‘
‘Bryant, tell me that siren in the distance isn‘t for me?‘ she said, looking around for the blue lights.
‘I may have accidentally called it in.‘
‘What, you fell over and landed on the 999 button?‘ she asked, cuttingly.
‘Yeah, that was exactly it,‘ he said as a first responder pulled off the main road and onto the grass.
😂😂
Finally starting this 😊
This one was a little different from the rest in the series, a bit darker, but maybe I should have expected that after the last one. It's still a great series, hard to pry the book out of my hands in order to get anything done while I'm reading it. I love learning more about damaged D.I. Stone's past, and this one included some juicy insight, but I hope the next one is more like the others in the series.
Um...Just wondering if anyone else who's reading this series feels that this book is different? Not bad, but maybe darker and grittier than the previous 7? My character/friends aren't quite who I remember them to be and I miss them. I'm worried. 😞
