Best book in March was Black Lies. I listened audiobook and I really enjoy. It was incredible story and narrator did a great job.
panThe storyline was slow, I mean extremely slow to the point where I was just skimming over the words for something interesting to capture my attention. The characters weren‘t likable and I couldn‘t connect to them at all. The only thing that saved this book a little was the plot twist. After the plot twist, it went back to being dull. The mental illness representation...bothered me greatly. But the romance scenes were good, I guess. #goodreads
I get a second chance to audiobook and found this one. I can't stop listening. It is so good and hot. 🔥🔥🔥

pickHmmm...I had the twist in this book figured out very early on and I think it detracted from the story a bit for me. It reminded me a lot of If I Break by Portia Moore. This book has been on my TBR for a couple of years now and I grabbed it immediately when it was a freebie on Kindle a few weeks ago. Overall a decent read. #LitsyReadingChallenge #LRC21
pickFANTASTIC!!! Completely different twist to a contemp erotic novel, a secret I so was not expecting. If this genre is at all your thing, give this one a whirl.
pickI can't remember the last time a book held me in ransom until I finished it. Black Lies sure as heck did. What a great way to spend an afternoon. It wasnt just a boy meets girl and they have lots of incredible sex story, although that's certainly an element. There are secrets for him and for her. And it's not the sort of secrets anyone would suspect. Give it a read. I promise you'll enjoy it. I even had a little cry at the end.
So my friend @Marilyn1970 just raved and raved about this one so of course I had to buy it. Only &5 for Kindle. If you like contemporary erotica, check it out.
