A bold new paperback edition of the Eisner Award-winning graphic novel--now finally collecting the entire story in a single edition! An epic graphic novel of Hollywood in the early days of the Blacklist, THE FADE OUT tracks the murder of an up-and-coming starlet from studio backlots to the gutters of downtown Los Angeles, as shell-shocked frontman Charlie Parish is caught between his own dying sense of morality and his best friend's righteous sense of justice. A picture-perfect recreation of a lost era, THE FADE OUT is an instant classic from the bestselling team of Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, who are joined by acclaimed color artist Elizabeth Breitweiser. Collects THE FADE OUT #1-12.

A murder mystery set in the Golden age of Hollywood by the amazing team of Brubaker and Phillips. Seduction, intrigue, paranoia; a gripping thriller.

WOW!!! From the creators of the Criminal series comes this gem. It‘s noir, it‘s pulp, and it‘s fantastic! This is the complete series - all issues/volumes. I recommend you read it like this - you‘ll want to finish once you start 💁🏻‍♀️

#TBRtemptation post! #GraphicNovel edition. Now *this* is my kind of graphic novel! An award-winning team gets together to produce a story of Lost Era/Golden Hollywood? Rich in realistic illustrations, and heavy on reflective substance, this is a compilation I can dig my teeth into. This particular edition is 12 volumes combined into one deluxe hard-cover package. Did you have a favorite graphic novel read in 2016? #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎👌🏻

ChasingOm My fave graphic novel that I read in 2016 was "El Deafo," by Cece Bell. An awesome depiction of a young girl with hearing impairments and what it's like to deal with being "different" as a kid. ???? 8y
