Not sure how to rate this one. It certainly was a fast read and felt plausible. But at the same time there was only one female character and she was there for sexual reasons (seducing the hero and then being the target of rape threats from the enemy). I also do not feel inclined to read the other 18 books in this series.

I am a spy fiction fan and this book is darker, grittier and far more plausible than Bond books. Quiller is fearless and action packed. A wonderful escape in every sense of the word. Loved it!
