Just a shoutout to the Atlantic. This magazine has been around since 1857.Still in print & not failing as speculated by Trump.I have read it off & on for years .Was a little surprised to find it at a grocery store magazine rack.Do I shop at the smart peoples Safeway?😁🤔😉

After a friend mentioned gift economies today, I bumped into this article from the Atlantic. #TIL that the idea of a barter economy that preceded the invention of currency is basically a myth, and that gift economies and other kinds of communist/socialist economies were probably very common! Love what this means about human nature. 😊 #NFNov @Clwojick @rsteve388

👀 Wow Atlantic...tell us how you really feel!

(I have no interest in starting a political discussion; I‘m just noting the simplistic boldness of the cover.)
