Lydia Crow establishes her business as a magical private investigator in this first book in the series. She investigates the disappearance of her cousin, makes allies and possibly enemies.
Solid, but a bit boring for a mystery.

Unique urban fantasy mystery with a great London setting. Enjoying it so far.
This was pretty boring. I was surprised that I only had an hour left of the audio because nothing happened. I feel like everything happened in the beginning and the rest was just her investigating. The mystery wasn‘t even that good. I think it was supposed to be more of a urban fantasy with a mystery and I thought of it the other way around.

This was an intriguing paranormal mystery, but I‘m still very confused at the end of it and there are enough things unresolved to leave me feeling rather unsatisfied.

A good mystery book 😊 3.5/5 Read for the August #Buzzwordathon - Time of Day
#TBRPile 📚 An urban fantasy set in London with warring magical families is EXACTLY my sort of book
This was my last read of September and I was really looking forward to it. I found it ok but it didn't fill me with the need to read the next books. Shame as I thought I would love this series. #books
A fun first book in this paranormal detective series set in a London rules by magical mafia families and Lydia Crow is the daughter of a man who got out who gets sucked back in as a favor to her uncle. I love this cover. 😍
