Brought home three books from work. I definitely want to continue the last two in Kleypas' Travises series. And the tagged YA sports romance looked super cute. #libraryhaul
so-soThis book was a cute and easy read, but something felt off from start to finish- including its vague title. I liked the premise of a hockey player romance (hello, The Cutting Edge, anyone?), but the tension broke pretty quickly, leaving me to wonder, now what? The only real “barrier” was the romance involved players on the same team, but most of the characters didn‘t see it as a big deal. I tend to agree, thus the lukewarm review.
