Yes, cover art is usually a big factor for me when picking books, but lately I have been binging BookTube & adding tons of books to my Really Really LONG TBR.

Reading The Secret Garden with our son - it‘s such a treat to introduce him to my favourite stories. 😍 And I caved in and bought this beautiful edition as we didn‘t have a German one (and the kid doesn‘t speak much English yet). It was freakin‘ pricey but hey, it‘s my birthday next week so I‘ll consider it a gift to myself. 🤪

Lots of #flowers in this book. The secret garden behind the wall was in full bloom after Mary, Dickon and Colin worked on the garden. This edition is illustrated by Lauren Child.
