I read somewhere that if you‘re getting sick of counting to 20 when washing your hands then you could recite a poem instead. So every day I‘m going to stick a different poem above the sink and give it a go! 👍

I love this poem from Emily Dickinson, because I think it shows the vulnerability that love brings. How often we all wish to be what those that we love want. The slight desperation that comes with wanting someone. Emily lived a reclusive life, but there was at least one person she loved.
Disclaimer: changing yourself for someone is not a healthy mindset and not something to try! But the desire to do so is a very human emotion. #poetry
