This is probably one of my favorite classics, and I mean I CANT with this edition. My love language is buying me beautiful books.

The girls are scattered across space and time to 4 different corners of the universe in this final volume. Clones of themselves are trying to reunite the original gang. There‘s an ending. I didn‘t expect I would have so many hopes for the futures of these fictional girls. #graphicnovel

This has been sitting in my tbr for an embarrassing amount of years 🙈 I always thought it would be a super dense and slow read, but it definitely wasn‘t. I enjoyed it!

Well one thing is very clear: V. E. Schwab is a beautiful writer. The prose of this story flowed so effortlessly and the story is a truly unique romance. I won‘t spoil anything for those who haven‘t read it, but for those who have, all I will say is that I really love clever girls.

Welp. The time war continues to rage in this fifth book of Paper Girls. The past catches up to the future, time could fold i to itself, and at the very end, the squad is dissipated across space and time. What the fuuuu. #graphicnovel

This. Book. This book taught me that you can have an unlikeable narrator and still like the book. In my more depressive episodes, I really relate to this character. How nice it would be to just sleep. Not another worry.

Yoooo what if y2k really happened? In book 4 of #PaperGirls we‘re thrown in to an alternate reality where ish is going down at the turn of the millennium. Can‘t wait to see what comes in book 5. #graphicnovel

Spending my Christmas evening with this book. I got it in my work‘s present exchange. I asked whoever got me to send me a copy of their favorite book! It‘s my go-ask and I love it because it gives me a chance to get to know them better. I always reach out afterwards and schedule a coffee chat so we can discuss the book.

Wow, what a childhood Hannibal had. What makes a serial killer? What makes a cannibal? This was a great read into a look at what made the man.

Continuing on my journey through this series. This book showed a side of Hannibal that we never saw in the films. We got to experience so much culture and learn about livestock 😅

Okay, so this one is hiiiighly rated on Goodreads and with my network of book lovers, but I have to admit it felt sort of meh to me. I know Huxley was kind of the first, but it felt like I‘ve read this story before. It‘s a fascinating concept, but I didn‘t find myself getting really excited to read this. So I‘m only giving it a so-so.

I think Rupi is incredibly talented and I adore her work, but this book didn‘t land with me as strongly as her other books of #poetry. I‘m noticing a trend in modern poetry where the need for something to be short and shareable makes it feel to me like vague sub-tweets. That‘s sort of what this collection felt like to me. But there were still some really moving pieces!

So creepy, and yet such an interesting read. Buffalo Bill is an iconic villain that inspires chills down the spine. I got really sucked in rooting for Jack Crawford and Clarice Starling on team FBI.

I adore Margaret Atwood. Her new book of #poetry is a combination of gentle musings and sharp observation. Which is use to describe most of her writings. #poetrymatters

I grew up on these movies and I couldn‘t wait to read the books when I saw them in the store. I bought all of them in the series! The character of Hannibal is so fascinating and it was great to meet him and see him engage with Will Graham.

I‘m currently in the middle of listening to American Psycho on #audiobook and I have to say... I‘m extremely bored! I understand the point Bret Easton Ellis is trying to make, but I don‘t want to listen to this guy detail his dinner plans, his fashion choices, or his skincare routine *again.* Narcissism is incredibly dull.

Audio books and planes go together like peanut butter and jelly. Really enjoying the Red Rising Saga on audiobook! The fourth one is the first one to expand into other characters viewpoints and it‘s been interesting to learn how the stories intertwine.

I zoomed through this read, I really liked it!

When I first read this book I was on a plane above the Rocky Mountains. And I realized that all of this happens at the same elevation I was at at that moment in my safe airplane. But they were exposed to all the elements. And I cried.

I remember when I was early in my college schooling I had a pop culture teacher survey his class and asked everyone to raise their hand if they were a feminist. Maybe 10 people did. Then he defined it. “It means you believe men and women should be equal. It‘s that simple.” And he surveyed again. The entire class raised their hands.
This is a short little read full of good words.

Such an imaginative and powerful book! I think I need to read more books like this in my life.

This is my fourth Brandon Sanderson book after the Oathbringer series and I really liked it! Any other Sanderson books that come recommended.

I did find myself really enjoying this book! And I often don‘t with classics. I mean, usually they‘re a so-so for me. I like them, but they don‘t grip me. I loved this love story.

Loved this read! I find most books about North Korea to be interesting, but this book in particular was really good.

What makes the happiest places in the world so happy? That‘s what this self-proclaimed grumpy author seeks to answer in his book. I very much enjoyed this read getting to know these destinations through the lens of happiness.

Have you ever bought a book because of the cover? I‘d been seeing this book everywhere, but had no idea what it was about. Turned out I read it in like 2 days and really enjoyed it! Sometimes judging a book by its cover pays off.

I think Ta-Nahisi Coates is one of the most powerful writers I‘ve read. Like literally, his prose communicates powerfully. I really enjoyed this read.

Marina was a bright young woman whose future could have been so full of it hadn‘t been for a tragic accident. Read her stories. They‘re full of wisdom far beyond her years.
