I've just finished the 3rd volume of this beautiful comic. I've been wanting to read them for a long time, and the wait was worth it. The adventure was a blast tabs the ending was satisfying. #darkcrystal #fantasy #comic #90skid #nostalgia

I didn‘t discover The Dark Crystal until the recent Netflix series. We watched the movie first and I loved it. The series blew me away. I was a *wee* bit disappointed after Game of Thrones, but this filled the void. It is easy to fall into Henson‘s fantasy world and eat up every little bit. This 3 volume graphic novel collection takes place 100 yeas after Jen and Kira saved Thra in the movie and I don‘t think they could have ended it any better.

What a wonderful end to this series. It was almost a shame to close the pages. Our heroes found the secret of the Dark Crystal and helped bring unity to both their people. I loved everything about this series and think it‘s a shame the movie never came together. There is a spin-off series called Beneath the Dark Crystal. I guess I will now have to go pick that up.
