I listened to this while going out of town to a friend's to get books, I liked it, but it was very different from any of his other books. Just can't explain why. I honestly thought it was just OK

What I like most about Dean Koontz novels is that I never know what kind of monster there will be. This time it‘s goblins from the gates of hell. This story hooked me in the beginning with spooky descriptions of unknown monsters under the bed. Reminded me of those childhood nights I thought something was under my bed or in my closet. 🧟♂️ #MountTBR
#NoteworthyNovember DAY 2: DARK
.
I chose 'Darkness Comes' by Dean Koontz and it goes by the name 'Darkfall' in US and that's dark enough for today's prompt. 🌉🌚

What dark book have you read?

The majority of this book was great. It's full of mystery, love, a badass female cop and a little pinch of voodoo. I really had a lot of fun with it. I had no idea how it would end so I sped through it to find out. I was extremely disappointed. It didn't so much end as come to an abrupt stop AND I WASN'T WEARING A SEATBELT. I needed more, Koontzy. I don't like when you do that to me and we're not friends for at least 24 hours. 3/5⭐#litsyatoz #D
#17booklove Day 27: Book + Beverage I Love. My favorite beverage is COFFEE. With a toddler, I really have no choice. I drink 3 cups a day because mama is tired. I'm almost finished with Darkfall, which I'm reading while the tiny human plays.
Check out the 'stache on Koontzy.
I started a new Dean Koontz last night! I adore the shit out of him, but a few years back I read so many of his novels back to back and was completely burnt out. These days, I throw in 2-3 a year, just to get my fix, but also so I can enjoy it. This is my choice for #litsyatoz for letter #D 😃
I LOVE #chillyreads ! And apparently so does Dean Koontz. #photoadaynov16 I have read all but one of these. I know I have forgotten a few too. I really like the Mary Higgins Clark holiday mysteries this time of year.
