Yesterday was also #ncbd...on a Thursday. Made it to the comic store a little late. Only thing on my pull list was Wonder Woman but I added the tagged book, my son is eager to see what happens next, Collapser #4 and some staff recommendations—Everything and Ignited. Looking forward to a good reading weekend.

I love this volume even more than the first! This is definitely a graphic novel that took me by surprise. Although the art style is not my favorite the story of Val is so compelling I can‘t help but want more! Set in the Golden Era of Hollywood, a movie star is murdered and the pieces just aren‘t adding up. Enter a writer, with demons of his own, that may know more about the murder than he thinks. Payoffs, greed, ambition, cover ups and murder👍🏻

I actually liked volume 2 even better than the first one! I love the time period and the noir feel of this. Can't wait to read volume 3! #graphicnovel #noir #oldhollywood #comixology 4.5⭐️

Mdargusch This actually looks like a graphic novel I might like! 7y
JenlovesJT47 @Mdargusch I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes Old Hollywood. The third volume is even better! 7y

I'm still new to graphic novels but I've really enjoyed this one. The art is fantastic and I love the 1940's Hollywood setting. I'm ready to jump right in to the next one.
