I haven't really been around lately, but I do have a #BookSpin list for August (and a review for my July book, if I get around to writing it). Looking forward to seeing what comes up. Thanks, @TheAromaofBooks!

Review of Knit One, Girl Two by Shira Glassman, which isn't in the database. 4/5⭐ So cute, so enjoyable. The characters felt very real and relatable, from being geeky to their internal monologue to the way they communicate with each other. So down to earth, like reading my friends and family on the page in ways I don't see in many other books. I loved Clara and Jasmine's sibling relationship. #queerlitread #projectSAMS
From Knit One, Girl Two by Shira Glassman, which isn't in the database. You know you know good people when they show up with unexpected gifts of rugelach. 💙💙💙 #queerlitread #projectSAMS
From Knit One, Girl Two by Shira Glassman, which isn't in the database: Clara didn‘t know what to say, but she also knew not every silence had to be filled. Sometimes the white spots, those left undyed and natural, were integral to the beauty of a colorway. #queerlitread #projectSAMS
From Knit One, Girl Two by Shira Glassman, which isn't in the database: “A lot of people haven't realized how big knitting is. They still associate it with grandmothers and pregnancy."
"In other words, with desexualized women," Danielle pointed out. "And therefore, it becomes devalued.”

Maggie and I are enjoying the tree after finishing my first book on my BRAND NEW KINDLE!!! Thanks, sis! How have I survived without one until now???!!! @TaylorMay
Jewish lesbian queen with gluten and poultry intolerance. With a cross-dressing bodyguard who rides a horse/dragon.
A mostly light, fluffy story about a queen seeking a girlfriend and becoming friends with a female mercenary. Plus there's a shape shifting dragon!
#RiotGrams Day 14 - I'm having to guess, since this is on the top of my tbr, but I gotta imagine there will be at least one kiss in this book about riding around on a dragon to find a girlfriend.
Solid first book of a fantasy series set in the Mangoverse! Queen Shulamit and Rivka together go in an adventure to find love for Shulamit. Little do they know, their quest is much more dangerous than they think! Great diverse cast of characters, looking at different issues that pop up in traditional fantasy narratives. #DiverseBookBloggers #DiverseBooks #LGBTQHistoryMonth
