This kept me guessing and nervous about what was next. It lost points for way too many characters and the MCs schoolgirl-like inner dialogue re: a woman he‘s attracted to. (Not lascivious, just hard eyeroll.)

I love how the author writes historical fiction. It‘s like a slow-moving car crash as the country‘s enveloped in WW2.

I‘m reading four books and listening to two. I don‘t feel like reading/listening to any of them. I guess I need to start my #lmpbc book — that I picked — and stay cozy with Pele. Life is hard. 😆😆😆
