I read two books last week and finished strong with the #ReverseReadathon and seven books additionally read!

I am 10% into Julie of the Wolves and should finish that in the next day or two.

Thanks @Andrew65 for hosting the #JubilantJuly Readathon!

Read 2 books this week+7 in #ReverseReadathon!

Slightly book drunk/hungover so no reading today, so far. Should finish Julie soon and then on to true crime.

Lovely book. This reminds me why I will continue to read the Newbery winners.

I loved this! Now I must see a performance. This is one of the two books I finished for #ReverseReadathon. I did read part of all ten books in my stack - the first time I‘ve ever done that! #Deweys

Final stats: 874 pages, 12 hr 21 min

7 books, 1127 pages read in just about 24 hours.

I'm enjoying baseball more than the written word so I'm waiving the white flag on #ReverseReadathon.

Hopefully, I can get Julie of the Wolves finished tomorrow.

But for now, play ball!

Sea of Tranquility: A Novel | Emily St. John Mandel

It‘s been a while since I‘d read a book in a day, but I suspect I‘d have done so with this one even if I wasn‘t participating in Dewey‘s #reversereadathon. Emily St. John Mandel has become one of my favorites and this perfectly exhibits why - normal human dramas show sharply against a far-flinging sci-fi concept, and it‘s also executed with clean prose and perfect pacing.

A quick read as #ReverseReadathon is about to wrap up.

This one is for #Booked2022 and the prompt above. Poems were short but impactful and this would be a great book for high school students as they learned about poetry and/or Harriet Tubman.
