I‘m still firmly in grumpy bastard mode, alas. I keep drifting away from books I should like and I can‘t seem to concentrate on TV. Blah.

Despite this, I‘ve settled in with PROPER ENGLISH and I‘m kinda hoping a plan for tonight either falls through or takes 30 minutes tops so I can binge read the last 33%.

Also, this is ANOTHER book without the cover inside the file. Dammit, book formatters.

I'm listening to (and very much enjoying) my #BookClub read at the moment! And here's my physical #TBR along with my #Readathon provisions! the.bookish.valkyrie @Paperback.princess19 It's a LGBTQ+ graphic novel series by a British YA author. It follows two high school boys in England who meet, become friends and fall in love. It's super sweet and cute and makes me cry, but in a good way! 4y

Some of these I probably already pictured when I bought some with Christmas money, but my #1 wish this year was to get physical copies of K.J. Charles' books. My wife has obliged!

Pictured also: Librarian Hedgehog, who is deliberating splitting by secondary genre or keeping them altogether in my romance section. Sshh... He's thinking.

Mild pick. Loved the character interactions, and especially the on-page depiction of female support systems. Plot/romance is set at a cracking pace that was just too fast for me (I like me my slow burns), but this book was only a couple hundred pages so nobody had the chance to slow down.

Probably not a book I'll reread, but definitely an author I'll read again.
