kamoorephoto Being a Seattlite, I‘ve been to Powell‘s multiple times, but I‘ve never been ‘allowed‘ to stay and browse long enough. In other words, I want an entire day and to be with someone who doesn‘t rush me, and is into books as much as me. My problem is I don‘t drive and I‘ve come down for the book festival and that sort of thing, so I never get to stay long enough. One day I‘ll get to do Powell‘s properly. ONE day. 2y

Hooked_on_books @kamoorephoto Your other option would be to bring someone who badly wanted to do something else in Portland, then you meet up at the end of the day after your respective activities! Powell‘s is amazing, so at least you‘ve had a few visits rather than none! 2y

I got to visit Powell‘s yesterday, one of my favorite bookstores in the world. I had to restrain myself due to airline restrictions, but I found many new book friends. ❤️

More of Powell‘s Books, the happiest place on Earth (I don‘t care what that giant mouse says)! I didn‘t have a huge book haul (picture to be posted later). I have SO MANY books at home that I haven‘t read!!! And the truth is that my physical space is getting scarce. These days, a place on my tbr list dies not guarantee a place on my shelves! It‘s a sad state of affairs. I miss the days of indiscriminate book-grabbing! 😢

I just succumbed to Powell‘s used book sale 📚 I really don‘t need more books, but I can‘t pass up a good sale! The last time I bought used books from Powell‘s they were all in great condition. #booksale

#Booksource #30JuneBooks. Powell‘s City of Books my favorite bookstore. I can browse for hours and never leave with less than an arm full. You know it‘s big when they have a map to help you navigate. It is a good thing it‘s an hour away or I would have an even bigger problem! I also love The Book Bin it‘s baby Cousin in Corvallis!
