Moreover, a charismatic professor who has loomed large in their lives is suspected of the crime. Though his guilt or innocence remains uncertain, the unsettling questions raised by the case force the three friends to take a deeper look at their tangled relationship. Less a mystery, and more of a character study, this is the story of three college students. Georgia, Charlie, and Alice all knew Julie Patel, the student who was murdered on campus. The story follows the three of them just prior to the murder, after the murder, and then continues to follow them into their 30s. The murder affects how they navigate the rest of their lives.

CoffeeNBooks This one has a really low rating, but I actually liked it. If you're looking for a mystery tied up with a bow at the end, this isn't it.

Book 7/25 complete. This was a slow read with a lot of backstory. The ending is open to the reader but you can assume what happens, a decent read! 🕵️‍♂️

I love Overdrive! Well I'm on Chap 3 and I really enjoy so far. I've heard that there is an unfair comparison to The Secret History. Elite college, a death/murder, a faculty member......I see the similarities. Let's see how it measures up. I recommend so far.

Started this one in audio ages ago, but let it expire. Picked up book copy from the library today to finally finish it.

I was intrigued by the idea of this book and found myself unable to put it down at first. I then realized it wasn't really going anywhere and it was more about understanding the characters instead of a real mystery. Not my favorite but it still held my attention.
