Everyday Super Food
Everyday Super Food | Jamie Oliver
4 posts | 3 read | 2 to read
This is the most personal book I've ever written, and in order to write it I've been on a complete journey through the world of health and nutrition. Now, using the thing I know bestincredible foodmy wish is that this book will inspire and empower you to live the healthiest, happiest, most productive life you can. Food is there to be enjoyed, shared, and celebrated, and healthy, nourishing food should be colorful, delicious, and fun. This book is full of well-rounded, balanced recipes that will fill you up and tickle your taste buds, and because I've done all the hard work on the nutrition front, you can be sure that every choice is a good choice. If you pick up just a handful of ideas from this book, it will change the way you think about food, arming you with the knowledge to get it right on the food front, most of the time. Love, Jamie xxx

Jamie‘s infectious enthusiasm jumps off the page in this Super Food cookbook, and the recipes are healthy, simple and do-able. Plus his books are always gorgeously designed - the photography is mouthwatering!
In the accompanying tv show, Jamie visits areas of the world with the healthiest lifestyles, and learns from their philosophies. Not dissimilar to my current read, The Blue Zones....which is fascinating 👍

I used to enjoy watching Jamie Oliver tv shows and have a few of his cookbooks (though I‘ve only tried a few recipes). This one fits today‘s #healthful #yesvember17

Libby1 @erzascarletbookgasm - ooh! Super food. All food is super if someone else makes it for me. 😃 7y

Tonight's #dinner is Seared Golden Chicken Mint Sauce and Spring Veg Feast. This was probably one of the easiest recipes in the dinner section of this book. I love #cookbooks!!! This recipe was easy and delicious.

When do you consider a cookbook "read"? I'm using my own standard of reading through the book, any introductory text, and trying 6 recipes.

MrBook Interesting menu 😊👍🏻... I don't ever consider a cookbook read, lol. It's like an encyclopedia or dictionary. 8y
tjwill That looks amazing! 8y
KarenUK I think when there is food writing along with the recipe... like with Jamie's books, he often gives a few paragraphs to explain how or why he came up with the recipe, along with the recipe itself... 8y

Lindy I keep a special journal for cookbooks, since I mostly borrow them from the library. I note results of recipes I've tried, recipes I'd like to try (next time I have it out). Quote passages from text. Signature ingredients. If I read all of the text, although not necessarily every recipe, I count it as "read" on Goodreads. Many cookbooks, however, I just skim through (considered unread). 8y
TamarackTrail @Lindy I kind of do the same thing, except I write in the books I own. I like that idea for borrowed books. 8y
